Delete your LifeMuseum account
You only have an account if you used publishing, Couple Mode or Cloud Sync. Deleting it removes everything it put on our servers, straight away. The museum on your phone is separate and stays until you empty it.
In the app
- 1Open LifeMuseum and, on the Museum tab, tap the profile button at the top right.
- 2Under Account, tap Delete account.
- 3Confirm twice. Deletion starts at once and cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- Your public profile: handle, name, bio and picture
- Every exhibit you published, with its photographs and videos
- Everything you shared in Couple Mode, and your place in the shared museum
- Your Cloud Sync backup, photographs and videos included
- Your likes, follows and block list
- The login itself
What is not deleted
- The museum on your phone. It never left the device; empty it any time from your profile with Empty the museum.
- Your purchases. They belong to your App Store or Google Play account. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel Cloud Sync in your store settings first.
- Copies other people had already made of anything you published.
If you cannot open the app
Write to devtaskhub@devtaskhub.com from the address your account uses and ask us to delete it. We delete the same data and reply once it is done, within 30 days at the latest.
Deleting an account is permanent. Your handle is released, and anyone following you loses the link.
